Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport is best known for a few things:It’s the world’s busiest airport, seeing over 100,000,000 passengers every year, and it’s massive, employing over 60,000 people and making it Georgia’s largest employer.

What travelers and Georgia residents probably don’t know is that the airport is also home to a more natural defining feature: the headwaters of Georgia’s Flint River, which flow into a concrete culvert just north of the airport.
